The Australian Tamil Chamber of Commerce Inc. is proud to present Business Awards Night 2024 on Saturday 21st September 2024, at Parra Villa, Parramatta.
ATCC Business Awards Night will be attended by successful Entrepreneurs, Professionals, International Leaders, Federal Ministers, Federal and State Member of Parliament, Local Government Representative, Foreign Consulate Representatives and representatives from other Tamil Associations.
Why Annual Tamil Awards Gala Night:
ATCC Business Awards Night is an event to showcase the entrepreneur skills of the Australian Tamil Business communities. The Award winners are chosen by an independent Selection Committee and the winners are selected based on certain criteria and requirements. ATCC wants to showcase the contribution made by the Australian Tamil business community in building the Australian economy and express our praise to the Award winners who have climbed up the ladders of success through their hard work and determination.
ATCC is the first point of contact for those seeking to do business for the Tamil Community. We are the bridge that brings together Tamil Businesses and mainstream businesses and communities. It is very remarkable to note that the Australian Tamil Community in many ways has enhanced the prosperity of Greater Sydney and Australia with its diverse contributions towards the society.
ATCC is seeking applications/ nominations from Tamil Australians who have continuously owned a successful business and contributed towards building the Australian economy.

Purpose :Recognizing and promoting the success and contribution of Tamil Australian businesses.
Preamble :Enclosed, the nomination application form for ‘Business Awards Night’. The nomination form is designed to gather information necessary for the Awards Selection Committee, with appropriate facts to facilitate the selection process. All applicants are encouraged to provide additional information in the attached form where appropriate. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all information submitted is accurate. The application package should be submitted to the Australian Tamil Chamber of Commerce Inc office or emailed on or before the specified deadline. All information on the application form will be treated as confidential.
In order to apply for the awards, applicants/nominees must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:
Award Selection Committee, appointed by the Board will be responsible for the selection of the winners for these awards. The Awards Selection Committee will consist of 3 representative members from various organizations/associations/govt. bodies/business/communities. The Award Selection Committee will review the application/nomination form and supporting documentation. The Award Selection Committee reserves the right to request additional information, relating to the applicant, if necessary.
The judging process is completely independent from the Australian Tamil Chamber of Commerce Inc board. However, there will be a nominee from the Australian Tamil Chamber of Commerce’s Board/ Executive Committee to the Selection Committee as an Observer & Advisor to ensure the Governance and compliance to the process and policy stated in this document.

The Most Outstanding Professional Award recognises an individual who has contributed towards a specific profession.
Category Eligibility
This award has been given to recognise someone who has been changing lives and society for the better, someone whose challenges and triumphs have been manifested in their life experience and personal journey, beyond their career achievements within the confines of their career commitments. A person who has taken risks, done the hard yards and been a pioneer who has had a positive impact on a wide range of people’s lives. The Award should ideally bring focus…has been an achiever during the year for which they are being given recognition
This award recognizes the achievements of a person who best exemplifies the ideals of entrepreneurship by starting and successfully managing one or more businesses in a way that demonstrates notable entrepreneurial characteristics and achievements.

Have been operating the business for the period of more than 3 years and has demonstrated outstanding entrepreneurial qualities in growing and developing the business.
This award recognizes the achievements of a person who best exemplifies the ideals of entrepreneurship by starting and successfully managing one or more businesses in a way that demonstrates notable entrepreneurial characteristics and achievements.
Category Eligibility
Have been operating the business for the period of more than 5 years and has demonstrated outstanding entrepreneurial qualities in growing and developing the business.
